Kia ora koutou Whanau!
Winter weather is well and truly here. Please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather, as it can suddenly get cold in the playground when the weather changes. Sometimes a spare change of clothes in a plastic bag is a good precaution in case students get wet or muddy when they are playing outside. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home until they are better. See the separate notice about illness further on.
This has been an exciting week with our Historical Fashion Show Event on Wednesday of this week. Students planned and prepared very well with the guidance and leadership from Maitress Ania and Mrs Metcalfe, Room 8 teachers. Thank you to all teachers and parents who gave their support to ensure the success of this event. It’s great to see our students stepping up to and enjoying leadership roles, as well as having the opportunity to showcase their dramatic abilities.
Our Museum trips are being held today and tomorrow. Sincere thanks to all parents and family members who have given their time to support our students on these trips. We know that students will have some very motivational and memorable experiences during their visit. Without parent help we cannot have these important educational experiences.
